Happily searching for and accumulating antique and vintage jewelry has been a passion and a great source of pleasure for me over the years. I never knew, and never questioned why I collected "old" jewelry. Selling it was never a thought. Finding a beautiful piece of jewelry from the 20s or earlier is like a shot in the arm for me; I am on a high for days. In fact any beautifully made old jewelry is a source of great interest for me and I love researching it. Funny that I have never worn much of what I have collected but friends and family know where to come if they need a special piece for a special occasion or outfit which always makes me immensely happy. Time to share because I have almost too much. Forcing myself to part with many pieces has been hard (they all have a little story) but very rewarding. There is nothing like receiving a note from a buyer saying that they are in love with a piece ... that also makes me immensely happy.

I love the research which can take months. Patina, incredible workmanship and old marks connect me instantly to the past and always makes me wonder about where a piece has been and who has owned it.
